The story of a bladder cancer patient treated at New Cross Hospital highlighted the fast recovery achieved by undergoing robotic surgery, with internal formation of a new bladder reconstructed from the bowel.
The patient praised Peter Cooke and his team “I can’t praise the urology team at New Cross enough. I had excellent advice and support from the team from the word go”. The same magazine also focussed on the use of da Vinci surgery for gynaecology patients.
